Welcome to our Bible capsule of today. We are reading from Matthew, chapter five verse seven blessed are the merciful for they will be shown Merci. Today is our I would say our 8th day of our prayer journal or nine, sorry nine, number nine give fruit and what a good way of showing mercy. You know mercy is compassionate action. Merci works with love but I love that really is not judging, it’s not thinking behind as you’re working and as you’re giving out a hand to the person and I’m going to give the hand but he doesn’t deserve this. No, no, no. Mercy just goes with this compassion is caring Where you just carry people. The best example Luke chapter 10 that the samaritan, The good samaritan when he saw that man laying down on the, on the way he didn’t judge or he probably was, he probably deserved to be beaten, he was probably stealing. He didn’t come to thinking thought negative thought of that person. He just saw the need, the man was laying hurt, he had been beaten, he had bruises, he couldn’t walk, let me do something about it. He didn’t have money, he didn’t have anything and this good samaritan moved in. Mercy show mercy upon him. Took him to the hospital. In my version asked he paid What needed to be paid and he said when I return if there’s anything else that I owe that he that he needs just do it. I’m gonna pay for it. We need mercy. Today. There’s so many people hurting 21 prayer journal or journey let’s pray for mercy who’s around us? That needs us? Some people are angry and they’re hurting and they’re so angry, you can’t really talk to them or they needed someone with compassion with mercy to just look at them and and just listen to them and you will receive one day that mercy that you have shown. It’s a seed that comes back May the peace of God that surpasses all human, understanding God, your heart and mind in christ jesus our Lord piece.
