During the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Tasha Danvers Smith stepped onto the track and took her spot among other 400 meter hurdlers. That moment was one Tasha worked towards for nearly eight years. With setbacks and unplanned life events in her past, she sprinted her way over each hurdle. Today, Tasha says the “setbacks” led to unimaginable success.
